Inorder to gain more traffic, I stronly recommed you to use Google+. Have you used Twitter ? If not, then first of all use twitter as it is the best medium to generate traffic. It is far more effective than Google+ and Facebook.

Both are equally important. Even though One will think google 1+ will give more benefit but one cannot discard the fact than facebook is leading high authority site.
