Yes, AMP will help to boost your rankings specially in mobile search. However, you cannot only rely on AMP, you need to work on optimizing your site and off-page activities too.

Now a days lot of people use smart phones, so we need traffic,leads,sessions for our website, we have to do AMP for mobile users.
