Showing of two different web pages or content of the same URL. That means the one which user see is different which search engine crawler index. It is a black hat SEO which leads to the penalization of a website by search engine.

Cloaking is a black hat SEO method never use these to promote your website. It does not follow the rules and regulation of search engine. In these technique google and user both have different contents.

A common form of cloaking is when someone looks up a subject on a search engine like "How to bake cookies." And someone has set up a Cookie baking website with a 301 or 302 redirect to a a online casino or a adult website. There are other ways of doing it. But that is one example.

Opponents see it as a bait-and-switch, where a Web server is scripted to look out for search engines that are spidering in order to create an index of search results.
