For checking your website ranking issue first you will need to find your target keyword for which you want to rank.Than use keyword position checker tools like ahrefs majestic and so on. these tools will show you ranking position for your keyword.

Check all on page elements and backlinks of web page and if you found bad backlinks for the website please remove them.
