Link popularity is a term used to tell “ value of a website “ on the basis of number of backlinks it has got. Link popularity is equivalent to number of backlinks a website has. It is an important factor used to determine the SERP of a website. Link popularity can be measured by number of inbound , outbound and internal links of a website.

Link popularity means general representation of the total number of links which links to your website. It is very important for the website because it is basically used by the search engines which show the total links to your website and through it, search engines give the position of the website. With the higher link popularity your website positioned higher in the search engine.

Link popularity is number of backlinks a website have. Backlinks are incoming links to a website or web page. The number of backlinks is one indication of the popularity or importance of that website or page (for example, this is used by Google to determine the Page Rank of a webpage).

Link Popularity refers to value of a website based on the quantity of quality inbound links or backlinks. In short it is total number of web sites that link to your site.

Link popularity refers to the number of links pointing to and from related sites and is an extremely important method of improving your site's relevancy in search engines.

There are three types of links that will increase the link popularity of your site:

Internal links;
Inbound/incoming links; and
Outbound/outgoing links.

Link popularity means the placement of webpage in SERP. It obviously measures the how many links are in the webpage and the quality of those links.

Link popularity is a term that refers to how many other links point towards a particular website. The term link popularity also has two different forms, Internal and External, which refer to the links coming from the websites own web pages and from other websites.
