How to do keyword Research

Hello everyone anyone knows how to select keyword in on page. What are the basic criteria to select the keyword??

If, you want to select keyword for your website then remember your keyword must be related to your product or work.

You already thinking about what type of keyword you want for your site so firstly check that keyword monthly searches and its competition through Google keyword planner. and select those keyword which you think that will help you.

According to me Keyword research is the most difficult task.Keyword which are useful for our website and their search is very difficult to find. but, recently i have tried some of tool for keyword research these tools help me to suggest my keyword but, these all is not so good to get traffic. Tool used by me is below:
Keyword Planner tool, Wordtracker, Keyword Discovery, Bing Keyword Research Tool

yes, there is a google keyword planner tool that helps alot to select your niche related keywords.

Here are some tips for selecting the relevant keywords for your website:
- First decide what type of keywords defines your website or products well.
- Then either use Google Keywords Planner or Word Tracker tool to find the related keywords of it.
- After that decide in which type of Competition you want to put your website in. Is it low, mid or high?
- Choose those keywords from tools which defines your website well.
