Outbound links are links that are meant to take you elsewhere. These are links that are going to direct you to another specific webpage or website altogether. Most, if not all, websites have outbound links. Two sides of a coin. There are two (2) kinds of outbound links.

Lesson #13: Outbound Links
Just as inbound links are important for your site’s ranking, controlling your outbound links is vital to your site’s on site SEO strategy. Going somewhere? When someone clicks an outbound link, it simply means that the person is going out of your site into another website.I think all websites have outbound links. There will always be great souces to cite when sharing information, great websites to share and your personal social network accounts to connect to. All these ‘other websites’ are entities that are apart from your ownership. Pointing out to them will obviously direct traffic from your site to them meaning you’re giving them an exit opportunity from your site.I’m sure you already get the gist that outbound links are not really something to keep a potential customer or a reader in your website, right? Now don’t get me wrong, I’m not trying to antagonize it – in fact I love outbound links as a reader because most outbound links help me find more relevant information. There’s more to it than meets the eye The thing you have to know about outbound links is that it passes on link juice to whomever it points to. And yes, the one passing it on of course, loses some of its own juice. What’s that I hear? Are you asking me to show you how to control outbound links? Why certainly!

An outgoing link or outbound-link is a link from your own webpage or website to another webpage or website.

These are the links pointing to other websites from your website and you have more control over these links. People have different views about outbound links and many say that it is against the SEO rules and search engines can penalize you for doing this. This approach is wrong; I know Google cannot penalize me if I put a link to Google inside my post. My theory is that you should link to relevant content if it gives more information to your readers. Bloggers are of the view that you lose traffic when you put outbound links in your posts but if you share useful resources then chances are that your readers will stick to your blog and will come back in search of more useful resources. But if you do put outbound links in your posts then make sure they are pointing to relevant, original and informative content".

Outbound links are links that point to some other domain from your site.
-Give search engines a clear idea about your blog because of relevant links. -Offer the best way to be in touch/build relation with bloggers having same niche.

Outbound links are links from your site pointing to other site. A different way to say inbound links is backlinks and a different way to say outbound links is internal links.

Outbound links are those that point to external domains from your website pages. These links are responsible to take away link juice and also traffic away from your website. Therefore too many outbound links are harmful for your website.

Any link from your website or blog to another website blog is an outbound link. Outbound links are from one blog to another. Outbound links are sent the visitor to your sites. Outbound links are the links placed on a page that point to an external location such as another website etc. Outbound Links are a good indicator of the quality of a Backlink.

Outbound links are links that point to some other domain from your site. When you link out to related domains, it not only helps the search engine to understand your niche, but also helps to increase the trust and quality of your site which plays a vital role in your blog’s SEO.
