Bounce rate is an important factor for a website. It is the measure of the time a visitors spends on your website and leaves without surfing around other pages. It should be kept to minimum to get the maximum benefit in search engines. It is measured in Google analytics.

Bounce rate is the percentage of single page visit. It is the number of visit in which the person leaves from your website from the landing page without browsing any further details.

The only thing thing that a high bounce rate tells you is that your website isnt engaging your users and doesn't offer the information they were looking for.

Why would you need to calculate bounce rate manually? Google Analytic s does this for you.

A high or low bounce rate doesn't increase or decrease your rankings.

It only gives you an idea of of how visitirs interact with your site.
