Which technique is more effective for link building

Blog Commenting or Forum Posting ????

Both are providing the best result but as my opinion forum posting is the best. Because you can also gain lots of knowledge with building back links.

i Feel it mostly Depends on where you are participating ! for instance if you are a posting in a high pr site of related forum site it defiantly matter then a blog commenting !

In blog comment we can add suggestion about the post or we can give our views and raise question.

But in forums there are lots of sections on the basis of the categories where we can ask specific question or share our knowledge.
