Hi,

Now Google penguin does not accept all links(penalty on low quality links).We can't make links with all theme related websites.Quality matters to make link exchange with websites.

What criteria do you use to increase ranking?

To increase Page Rank of your site you need to create the backlinks to your site.u can get good quality backlinks with blog commenting,forum posting and article submission.

Backlinks are the most important factor to get good ranking BUT you need high quality backlinks. You need to be careful about these services offering 1000's of backlinks for a cheaper price because they use software to create them. Once Google realizes that, you will pay a high price because your site will go down significantly with no assurance that you will ever recover.
Let this not scare you visit the link on my signature to get quality backlinks.

Offer something that people might love. I mean Google loves websites that are offering something useful to search engine users. As you can see, all those algorithm updates were designed to give users the best possible results as possible.

And getting track to those updates and what Google wants for their users will lead you to provide more useful stuffs and surely Google will notice you and might give you a good rankings.

Now a days, you have to remember only two things to get well ranking. First is Content and another one is Quality backlinks. Focus only these things, you will get ranked on search engines automatically.

Very useful post. It’s very difficult to break into the top 10 ranking for a competitive keyword which doesn’t generate a lot of reader interest. Hence blogs and all that sort of social media doesn’t really work out. What else is left if it’s the case?
