Files names and MAC systems

Hi,

File name of any HTML file is very long say longer than 256 character will it make any difference while loding the same page under MAC operating systems.

If yes whats the max limit to be on safer side.

If the total relative path for the particular file is also very on as compare to file name which is 256 charater, in such cases whole path is considered??

Can some one help me regarding this?

Thanking in Advace,
Cheers
