These are the basic tips to increase your page rank :
Include necessary and relevant high-quality information on your site
Submit your site to high quality web directories and reference sites
For communication publicize your site to everyone
Write a newsletter and send it out to the sites
Provide a Rich Site Summary
Ask other high-quality websites to link to your website
Check out a site before you are linking back
Provide unique content

Hello,

there are three most important factors to go high rank:
1- post always smart content ,don't copy it from others.
2- site submission on high PR websites.
3- always touch in with social site. it is the most important feature now a days.

by doing so you can improve your Alexa rank - mostly people are judging your site by Alexa rank so always try to maintain it.

Don't think about "Page rank" leave this for Google. Google considering multiple factor to update your website page rank. So, you can give your best, Make quality backlinks, use unique quality content and get link juice from high PR sites.

Google is provide for all website rank between 0 to 10. This is called page rank.

I have to add thing. i got pr3 for one of my blog within 2 months. but for another site still pr2 for a year. the thing is if you only find back links it may not increase pr. you have to add content regularly while find back links

PageRank is based on Quality Backlinks. So, Focus only on High PR Backlinks.
