Visits in google analytics are the total number of visitors to a website. Sessions are the total time that a visitor stays on your webpage. You can trach both with Google Analytics. Max Session time is 30 min generally.

Google has simply changed the terminology.
What was "Visits", is now called "sessions". "A session is a group of interactions that take place on your site within a given time" - Google

In simple terms, A visit counts as 1 page view, a session is the time length a person stays on your site.

A visit counts as 1 page view, a session is the time length a person stays on your site. 1 returning visitor may stay on your site for 2+ minutes, or longer, depending on the site. High bounce rates of 95%+ are terrible.

Session and visit are two different things. When a user clicks on a web page or website then it is called as visit and the time duration which the user stay called a session.
The time duration which the user stay on a web page or a website called a session yet When a user clicks on a web page or website, it called a visit. So, I clear you that session and visit are two different things.

Visit refers to the number of time the user visit the page. A session refers to the active user on a particular page.
Session and visit are two different things. When a user clicks on a web page or website then it is called as visit and the time duration which the user stay, called a session.

Hi,
Visit's and session are same. A single user can click and land on same domain from two different ways. Eg:- Scenario 1 Keyword:- Injury lawyer Source:- Google organic search Scenario 2 Keyword:- Divorce lawyer Source:- Google organic search In both case, same user landed on same website but from 2 different keywords. So this will be counted as 2 different sessions.

Visits in google analytics are the total number of visitors to a website. Sessions are the total time that a visitor stays on your webpage. Generally sessions are as random ends up each 30 mins if the webpage is not closed. A session ends if no activity is taken by the visitor in 30 mins. You can change of course this time delay, make it lower or greater. If you are about to get analysis from a video you have uploaded that is 2 hours so you can make this session 2 hours 15mins as auto ending session if no activity is taken. A session ends when the visitors exits the current page or website.

Visit- The user clicks on the website for once and leave from the site then it should be says that Visit.
Session- The user visit on the website and stay for some time duration then it should be session. IBM Netezza Informatica
