I'd like to know on how to get hundreds or thousands of facebook likes without using any software.

make your circle larger and ask your friends to like the page and place the intresting things like photos,videos which are to be useful then it you can get more likes

Try to add photos As you have seen that generally photos get most liked .

Increase your friends and join more groups that will help you to increase facebook like. You can put a facebook like button inj your site or blog it will help you to increase facebook like.

I am going to try to not promote through Facebook, but have really tried to use twitter. With thousands if followers, likes or whatever, it changes little for the site. It's just a gauge for how many people actually care to click it and little else it would seem. So what's the point of spending effort here?

it is a consistent process. you have to built relation within your group.no one actually can achieve it over night.

Quality is the only thing that will give you the solution of your problem. Just write a good content of your niche that is interesting and also give the solution to the readers and share your content on Facebook. This kind of content will generate good amount of traffic and likes for you.
