There is nothing like good/bad or important/less important here, both are equally important. You should try to ensure all the doors are open, the more doors you open towards your business the better it gets.

Besides certain business works with Facebook and other don't, it all depends on your business, your geo targeted audience and more. For instance if your target is China then both Facebook and Google Plus are useless for you. (both sites are blocked in China
