Do they really bring good traffic? I am planning to send out Bulletin on mySpace. I had like to hear experiences of others who have taken this approach?

Social networking do help in increasing the traffic for website or blog but a good amount of traffic is non targeted. The best option is to participate in groups that are related to your niche. For this, LinkedIn is the best option.

If you try to digg in social networks, it not only brings more traffics, it also helps your site for better ranking

Yeah social sites are really a great way to generate traffic on a website. One just has to create profiles on these social sites and make friends or followers of niche and share your products and services which a website offering.

I personally find Facebook and Stumble Upon a good source of visits for a website, if you use it correctly.

i get a lot from stumbleupon but it is usually not targeted traffic so they come and bounce more often than others
