A high CTR tell you people are see you link somewhere and then clicking on it. The first step is for visitors to find you link and then click on it. The second step is for them to like your website and do something there.

Before you know the Click Through Rate you know the basic concepts of impressions and clicks,
Impressions - Estimate how many times your website appeared for particular keywords
Clicks-This is an number of time website list appeared in search result clicked

Then CTR is percentage of click from impression.
