I think that for heavy scripts you better need to have VPS or even dedicated sevrer. But if you are starting your site only and if the script is quite new you need to use shared hosting and better with high uptime if possible. For this purpose I can recommend you downtownhost.com as web hosting service with high uptime, then you will be ableto shift to their semi-dedicated or VPS

Checfk out hosting services from hostforweb or kjmanagedsolutions.
Their servers are well-administrated and prices are competitive.

Performance of any website or scripts depends upon server hardware. If the server hardware on which your website is hosted is powerful then you will get good performance. Additionally your website performance is also depends upon server speed. If the servers are connecting to internet with high bandwidth then it will certainly affect on website speed hosted on same server.

Why not to choose hostingsource.com?
These guys are great. they are offering 50% off the price on their VPSs and dedicated servers. just use the code '50%discount' when ordering.
I have found them to be the best host for support, advice, and pricing out of several hosts I have ever seen before.

Why not to choose wansecurity.net Cloud servers?
Their services are appreciated for the high server reliability, the connection speed and the excellent technical support available 24/24 hours via ticket, email or by phone.
You will be pleased I think!
