Google Sandbox is the process from Google to put your website in their "sandbox". It means your site won't be found anywhere in your targeted keywords.

The sandbox is essentially a filter that was created by Google to avoid spamming of search results by unscrupulous webmasters. Before the sandbox was created, most new sites could rank pretty quickly, which allowed certain "black hat" SEO professionals to make a quick buck by ranking a new site on the top of Google's index for a very competitive keyword, and then cashing out before Google caught up with their spam technique.

Sandbox is nothing but a virtual place where Google places websites which are new and penalized by Google. Their is no time period for which your website will be remain in sandbox.

Depending on the number of quality links Google removes it from sandbox and last listing your website in SERP.

You need to understand that it will take some time to rank your website in the top pages of Google. When I say your website will rank in SERP, I mean some where you can find your website in Google search if you have done proper On page and having certain quality backlinks.
