If don't want to do any unethical then use social media sites such as Facebook, Twitter, Pinterest and Google+. These are the best for promoting and for driving website traffic. Just create a profile page on these social sites and post quality content along with images and link to attract attention of others users.

you can increase the traffic on your site through to increase in your page ranking. this can be done if you improve the SEO of your site. in SEO you'll have to do forums, social book marks, directory, query and use social bookmarking sharing article etc.
