one of my friend is doing 10 book marking on daily basis for her 5 keywords & her keywords are always on Google 1st page...

The strategies in SEO are keep on changing, but i never heard that anyone ever said that stop bookmarking, its not beneficial now.
This is something beneficial in the past and still it is. Personally i believe that new site needs it more in order to get recognized in the world of internet.
