No, I don't think so. Since they only provide nofollow links, it's worthless to except good from there, expect Traffic.

Of course Yahoo back links is good for SEO. When you will do this back link you have to keep in mind that you must give a few answer don't answer more and more. It is proved by me thanks a lot.

Yahoo answers back links are no-follow back links and they don't pass any link juice but they can send traffic to your site. So you can use yahoo Q/A for traffic purposes not for back linking.

no follow links from high authority sites like the one you mention will still earn you referral visits..

yahoo answers is a good place to get backlinks.
You can answer questions related to your keywords, and still receive hits to your site. I mostly use yahoo answers and get several requests every day Hope this helps.
