Bounce rate of a website is the term used in internet technology to defines how user interact with your content if your bounce rate is high it means a searcher search on google for something and land on your page but not get what actually he wants so you have to work on your website content to make it relevant and do white hat seo only not black hat tactics and keyword stuffing . Always use keyword by which your content belongs to.

Bounce rate is the percentage of visitors to a given website that leave the site after viewing only a single page. A high bounce rate can be interpreted to mean either that the content is not relevant to its target market or that the site is not attracting its target market effectively. Bounce rate can be measured in one of two ways: Either determining the number of visitors who enter the website but “bounce” or move before exploring anything other than the entry page or determining which visitors leave the site after only a brief time period.

Bounce rate is the percentage of times a visit a webpage and leave it without visiting any other webpage of a website. Lower the bounce rate defines the popularity of a website.

percentage of visitors visits your sites and leave quickly without giving any interest to read your pages is bounce rate. if your websites bounce rate is high then it means your home page not attractive to hold the customers interest.
