You chose them based on how many people are searching for them and how many other websites are competing for those keywords.

The more people search for them the better as long as your competition is not to high.

Choosing keyword can be done by researching your keyword from google keyword planner which one has low and medium competition so that you can do no or little SEO To rank higher for your keyword. Many a time your onpage SEO is good enough to rank you up:
