The bounce rate represents the percentage of visitors who enter the site and leave the page. To reduce your bounce rate we need to improve website load times, determine where users are coming from and why they’re coming, study your keywords, verify browser performance

The bounce rate is a percentage that shows the amount of single-page visits to your site. This is the number of visits that landed on your site and then exited from that same landing page. The lower your bounce rate, the better. 50% bounce rate for blogs is somewhat normal and a 75% rate would be a cause for concern.

and you can improve it by doing this

Have clear navigation so your visitors can see other topics you cover, and visit them easily.
Hotlink to related information, articles, and pages.
Encourage conversation with polls, forums and/or comments.

Bounce rate shows the time of stay for the visitor on your site or site page. If your site's bounce rate is high , it gives a clear message to the search engines that your site has nothing for the user's interest and if it is low it is beneficial for your site's ranking and pr

Bounce rate means very low time of watching the site's page. When any body just check the page and within a half minute they gone then it is considered as a bounce visitors. This is very bad for the site. For decrease this rate you must have the best design of the site and maximum use of internal linking.
