Cloaking is a search engine optimization (SEO) technique in which the content presented to the search engine spider is different from that presented to the user's browser. This is done by delivering content based on the IP addresses or the User-Agent HTTP header of the user requesting the page.

Cloaking is a search engine optimization technique in which the contente or data displayed to the client is not quite the same as that exhibited to search engine crawlers (i.e. arachnids or bots) for better indexing. You may have seen now that Cloaking is an illegal practice and is viewed as a Black hat SEO. The Search engine may for all time restriction from our file any destinations or site creators that take part in Cloaking.

Cloaking is a Black hat technique. When u can open one site but it is redirect to other site it is a Cloaking. Cloaking is a form of the doorway page technique.
