H1 is a header tag 1 and H2 is a header tag 2 which is used for titles and headlines . Alt tag (Alternate tag) is used for Images to get more visibility in search engines.

We can say that H1 and H2 are the Header Tag where we can keep our website's Title and header and Alt image Tag is Image Tag where we can keep keywords in this tag when any visitors will search that keyword then our website image will come in search engine.

H1, H2, H3... all these are header tags. And alt tag are called alternative text with is used with the images and incase if image doesn't visible to user then through alt text anyone can guess what about this image is.

H1, H2 all are header tags and we use upto H6. We consider only 1 H1 tag in a webpage but rest of them could be multiple. Alt tag is known as alternate text which is used to describe about image, if image don't get download. Through alt tag user can easily get what about this is.
