OSI Stands for Open Systems Interconnection. It's a network model developed by ISO. were peer to peer communication are divided in seven layers. Below are seven layers.

1. Physical Layer
2. Data Link Layer
3. Network Layer
4. Transport Layer
5. Session Layer
6. Presentation Layer
7. Application Layer

OSI (Open Systems Interconnection) is a standard description or " character model" for how messages should be transferred between any two dots in a telecom network.

OSI model developed by the International Organization for Standardization (ISO) in 1978 having 7 layers i.e application, presentation, session, transport, network, data link and physical layers.

Each layer makes use of functions provided by the layers below it and provides functions that are used by the layers above it.
