can some one explain me about reciprocal link?

A reciprocal link is an agreement between two webmasters to provide a hyperlink within their own website to each other's web site. Generally this is done to provide readers with quick access to related sites, or to show a partnership between two sites.

Reciprocal links means exchanging links between two websites. but this kind of activity is against google guidelines.

A reciprocal link is when one website adds a link to another website on the promise of that website adding a link back.

Reciprocal linking is an agreed upon link between two web sites. In these link agreements you will place a link on your site going to theirs and they will return the favor.
