I am doing SEO for web development website. Is anyone here to guide me that how can I do seo for e-commerce website?
How to start seo for e-commerce websites? Thanks in advance for any ideas.

SEO for ecommerce should during the web development. Make each product link static.. If you 100 products then having 100 pages is good. Also add the fb like button for each product for easy promotion.

I am completely agree with your points and i want to add that seo for ecommerce website is very difficult rather then other websites.

Technique wise and how you go about SEO is the same no matter what the site is. The only variants are what it is you are focusing on in terms of keywords and keyword phrases. As well as who you are connecting with via link exchange and/or social media sites

- Optimize images properly

- Begin to promote your shopping site on Social Media websites
- Social network management
- Social bookmarking
- Blog integration etc

In ecommerce websites product pages are much important.So don't ignore seo work on that pages.Optimize every product page with relevant product and also we can also target on users generated reviews.Use unique meta details for every page and try to target products as keywords.

Make things simple for user and crawler it will help you alot. If a user and crawler can simply understand your website it will start getting up in SERPs automatically and if they both find it hard to understand it then work need to be done on this.
