Are you serious?
If you are serious about living in the US I can help you but I'd need to ask what you are looking for, and what do you describe as "best?"
I can tell you that I live in a part of the country that is rural, yet only a few hours away from a metro center. It is beautiful, scenic, with wildlife, water and woods. The cost of living is very low. You could probably buy a comfortable retirement home for under a hundred grand and a beautiful place on the water for a couple hundred grand. Something that would cost millions in California. But it is rural. If you want to go to the symphony every week, you will be unhappy here. What are you looking for? |

Well I like San Francisco the most, it has the perfect balance for everything - employment, entertainment, recreation and night life.
