From my point of view Facebook, twitter, LinkedIn, Google+, StumbleUpon, Pinterest are the best social networking sites.

for business my recommendation will be google+ and yahoo, for the help they do in SEO

Now Facebook is the best i think but Twitter & Google+ also good.

fb is good for personal networking..
g+ aids to SEO.. twitter is also good to reach out to maximum audience..

Facebook, google plus and twitter all are good as they are very popular social networking sites. There are a large number of users. But it also depends on your friend circle and followers over social networking sites. Personally, I like Facebook more.
