My opinion is that articles can be more effective. There a lot of sites where you can submit your story,assumption is that you have interesting content.

Both these phenomenon have their advantages and disadvantages. Albeit, managing a blog is comparatively tougher than that of article writing as the blog needs to be updated daily.

In my opinion articles are more effective. There are many sites where you can submit your articles. But make sure that the content of the article is good.

Blogging can be done by posting same stuff on many blogs but article submission can't be done in this way, you can submit one article at one site just.

More over article submission have much effect for generating traffic as compared to blogging.
