100% bounce rate means a user visited one of your website pages and left immediately. The % falls as they spend more time on your site and visit more pages. Less than 50% bounce rate is considered as the bounce rate you would like to ideally achieve.
Bounce rate can me misleading though as someone may simply be searching for you phone number which would mean a 100% bounce rate but it may lead to good business |

Bounce rate is the percentage of visitors to a given website that leave the site after viewing only a single page. A high bounce rate is usually a sign that your website is not user-friendly.

Bounce rate is single-page sessions divided by all sessions, or the percentage of all sessions on your site in which users viewed only a single page and triggered only a single request to the Analytics server.

Bounce rate (sometimes confused with exit rate) is an Internet marketing term used in web traffic analysis. It represents the percentage of visitors who enter the site and then leave ("bounce") rather than continuing to view other pages within the same site.

Bounce rate is one of the most misunderstood metrics in Google Analytics. Bounce rate is the percentage of single page visits (or web sessions). It is the number of visits in which a person leaves your website from the landing page without browsing any further.

Can we reduce the Bounce Rate immediately? What would be the reason if a website gets an abrupt increase in its Bounce Rate ??

Bounce Rate is the percentage of single-page sessions (i.e. sessions in which the person left your site from the entrance page without interacting with another page). The Bounce rate should be more than 20 to 30% and less than 70%. The 100% bounce rate is also bad for a website.
