In my opinion, post your site at many search engines if possible as Google, Yahoo, Ask. Use dynamic content to get more noticed by the visitors. Do not use broken -link for your site else no one would get access to your. Join social networking sites as Twitter, Face-book, Tumblr Xanga Blog-spot,Linked-in etc.Post your topics about your site to get feedback from other users. Share your views with other users & bookmark your site at bookmarking sites as Digg, Delicious, Stumbleupon etc.
