301 redirect is the most efficient and Search Engine Friendly method for webpage redirection. It's not that hard to implement and it should preserve your search engine rankings for that particular page.

301 is the redirect to the old URL.This is helps for retain the regular visitors on the website.

A 301 redirect is when a file has been permanently moved to another location. It is important only if you have a good page rank with the Search Engines is it worthwhile, but since it's so easy to set up, you just as well do it. Might look into using a 302 first.

301 redirect is the best method for implementing redirects on a website. 301 redirect is SEO friendly permanent redirect which have been used to move old to new url. It is helpful to pass PR and link juice to new url.

301 redirection is permanent redirection which we basically implement when one of our site or web page has permanently moved to some other location.
