Google Webmaster Still Shows Removed Backlinks
I have a website and I accidently placed two links in footer of two social media websites. I placed links in the footer of home page and same footer is called on each and every page of website. Now fact is Google is considering I have linked my website on each and every page of the websites. Google webmaster shown me 10,000 backlinks pointing towards website which is simply a big problem for me today.
When I noticed the situation 6 months back, I removed links from footer, but after 6 months Google webmaster still shows links pointing to website. What should I do? I used disawow tool but no improvement in past 6 months. What should I do? I know Google is removing links day by day, counting the links down, but the process is too slow, but I need to speed it up. Hope understand.

I thnk you have deleated all your backlinks and links. you should make good backlinks for your website. you should also make a good internal links of your website.

Defiantly Google Webmaster always show any change of website.

It can take minimum three months or more to drop from reports. However WMT data is not the exact same data that is being used in the live index.
