Keyword density tells you how often a search term appears in a text in relation to the total number of words it contains. For example: if a keyword appears three times in a 100 word text the keyword density would be 3%.

Keyword density is the percentage of times a keyword or keyword phrase is found in your page content amidst all the other content. For example, if you have a web page with exactly 100 words on it, including all headlines, captions, alt text, and advertising, and you have a keyword phrase that is on the page 3 times, your keyword density is 3%

In the context of search engine optimization, keyword density can be used to determine whether a web page is relevant to a specified keyword or keyword phrase. Many SEO experts consider the optimum keyword density to be 1 to 3 percent; more could be considered search spam

Watchword thickness is the level of times a catchphrase or expression shows up on a website page contrasted with the aggregate number of words on the page. With regards to site design improvement, catchphrase thickness can be utilized to decide if a website page is important to a predetermined watchword or catchphrase state.
