Submit sitemap from webmaster tool.
It will help to you to increase your traffic.

Google index means that your pages or site come in Google search result. Its the most element in S.E.O that you first have to ensure that your site is index Google or not, because without appearing in Google index your site can't get ranking. Query to Google indexes is "site:yourswebsite.com" . From this query you can ensure that how many are pages of your site is index in Google. After development of a new site the important thing to call the crawler to your site and to make sure that did they include in your site in there indexes.

Same goole index your all web page so that is someone search about your website google can display the relevant data to the user.

Whats ever you post on your blog or website. Then it will be indexed if you have submitted map in Google web master tools !
