How do you use Facebook?
I am finding Facebook very frustrating.
I have never used it for personal use and have created a local business page. However, I am finding that you can't really link with people or search people unless it's a personal account. Am I right in assuming that it's very limited unless you have facebook for a business listing (which you pay for) Does anyone have any info on how to use facebook better, without paying out loads of money to facebook? Using the same profile Id used for creating the business page, you can connect it up with a profile too. I have done it that way. The search option in facebook can be used to guide you through. For the facebook page, you can add a fan widget to your site, by copy pasting a code given in your page. There are paid page promotion options also, like displaying ads on targeted facebook profiles.
The link to a blog post can be posted in the wall as well as a request for your fan page. You can integrate twitter and facebook too, wherein your tweets will be displayed in your profile and if you have a large twitter population this will convert into facebook fans as well.

Thanks for the tip. Very useful. I have been thinking about creating a personal facebook profile to add or link to the business one.
