I think keyword is used in 2 or 3 times for content and Alexa is used for traffic in your site

Keyword density should be : about 2% in your content.such as your content is about 300 words then your keywords should not be more then 6 time ( include title,description and content )

Alexa is used for the reputation of your website and for checking the traffic.

Normally the keyword density is 2% to 3%.
