Agree with the point that SEO and PPC are different ways to promote a website. If you have a nice budget and website dealing with profitable business you can go for PPC programs. PPC can bring sudden traffic to your website but to bring traffic using SEO you need more time. SEO brings organic traffic but it takes time.

PPC is good for some companies. If they need instant traffic than its best. but for long term, seo is much better. PPC costs a lot depending on the keywords, and it is not great for small companies with not a good budget.

Though SEO is time consuming but it carried most value than PPC. But ppc is expensive but not effective than SEO. So, We can follow any site as we like best. But I think that it is not thought about a website without SEO.

seo is long term results whereas ppc is shorter term results but you need to pay to the search engines.

if i need to choose i will go with seo as its a one time investment.
