I mostly would like to prefer the SEO. SEO is gives more visitor to your website. However it is lifetime and PPC is just for campaign time only so there is no more helpful for getting increase the visitor through PPC.

I think PPC and SEO run hand in hand, At first you need PPC to get any form of traffic, but once established SEO is the way forward

SEO is far superior in my opinion. PPC will burn through a budget very quickly (although it is an effective way of determining which keywords to target). That being said, SEO takes a lot of time and hard work. PPC is immediate if you have the money.
