Yesterday I was searching about Book Marking and Directory Submission there was written as
"If you're submitting your website to hundreds of Internet directories that will never send you a single visitor, you don't need to bother. These links won't help your Google rankings.
If a directory sends your website visitors, it's worth getting the link. You can ignore other directories."
So guys Stop submitting Book marking and Directory Submission on low quality sites. Try to find high Quality book marking and Directory submission sites.

Bookmarking and directory submission has its own importance. both is good to increase traffic on the website. google like both directory submission and bookmark but site should be quality basis.

Book marking is still effective, You just need to do book marking on high PR sites. If you are doing irrelvent low quality bookmarking than this work is not effective.

Bookmarking is there, it provides good traffic to your site, and gives the instant back links to your site.

I would be agree at some point if you are talking about directory submission but bookmarking is not dead i do have hundreds of backlinks generated by bookmarking.

I agree there are various directory sites from where you don't get any visitor. But social bookmarking do help to get traffic for your website, and also helps to boost keyword ranking if submission is done in dofollow sites.

Sorry, but this is very same as SEO is Dead, but it's not. only the way of doing is evolving. Directory submission or bookmarking when done excessively it will harm you only just try to limit your submission by some minimum value.
