You Must follow this steps ,first is Find a worthy web or article directory, or forum list ,Navigate to the most appropriate category of the web or article directory or area of the forum,If this is a web directory, write an original title and description for each directory .Rinse and Repeat, but don't do too many in sitting.The best place to get quality backlinks is using Social bookmarking websites.

Google is updating there algorithm day by day. Now Google are more complicated. Link building is not a solution to get a good rank. Now days content is the king. Firstly remove all issue or error from your site. Upload fresh content on your site. Get link from Article, Blog, Gust blog post and etc.
