Linkedin Strategy
I find that LinkedIn is only for making connections rather than promoting something.
Last week a client asked if I could stay for a bit after our weekly meeting so he could thank me, not for a PR project, but to show me how he’d used a tactic I’d shown him on LinkedIn to put himself well on the track of securing a much more aggressive marketing budget next year.
It makes sense but, requires a lot effort. I would be willing to start.
And it is good for SEO.
Linkedin Strategy:
1. Post useful updates once a day from your personal LinkedIn profile 2. Be active in 3-5 LinkedIn groups consistently - share good content, discussions and other interactions - be a Thought Leader. 3. Use LinkedIn's advanced search facility to locate useful business connections by name, company, university, job title, geographic location. 4. Don't just connect with other LinkedIn users - always send a thank you response message, particularly to relevant contacts, then share useful content monthly that directs them to your website or email database sign up. 5. Check who's viewed your profile daily - this is a great source of hot leads - after all, they've looked at your profile for a reason. |

LinkedIn is good for B2B businesses and for building connections with professionals and entrepreneurs.
It's not good for promoting online stores and products unless it's something related to a professional field. However it's good to have stronger backlinks for SEO purposes, this in long term will get more traffic to your website. |

No doubt about LinkedIn, LinkedIn is one of the most strongest social network that really helps to build a strong profile or people as well as for a company page too.
If you're confused with what to share on LinkedIn or how to manage your company's LinkedIn page, remember to think of it as a content marketing platform instead of a social media channel, and then plan your posting strategy. A LinkedIn social media strategy must be always followed by a overall content strategy.
