Your explanation is really very informative, just would like to add some value to it. One use can have multiple Sessions, but one session can't have multiple user.

For example:- If you are in the website for more than 30 minutes, new session will start. Similarly, if you are not active on the page and visit the page again than also another session will be created..

A User can create one or more sessions. All Google Analytics sessions have got expire date. They can't last longer then 4 hours.
