Well, I would say structure data is just a term like a website which can be developed in HTML same way Structure data can be also implemented in Schema markup (Vocabulary).

Schema markup code can be written in three different languages:

Microdata (Lot of headache in order to implement structure data in this from a design perspective)
Json-ld (Google recommends this. No headache at all. Prefer GTM for implementation)
RDFA (Deprecated)
While rich snippet and rich cards are outcomes of structure data like

Rich snippet example:

Breadcrumbs
Review Rating
Reviews
Products
Recipe
Videos
Music

Schema markup is code (semantic vocabulary) that you put on your website to help the search engines return more informative results for users. If you've ever used rich snippets, you'll understand exactly what schema markup is all about. The schema markup told the SERP to display a schedule of upcoming hotel events.
