PPC and SEO are completely different concept of search engine marketing. SEO is the Organic results and PPC is paid per click results display above the organic results where you have to pay for every user click. Both have their own benefits.
If you want to rank your website for short time and fast you should go for PPC. If you want long lasting results and have some patients for keywords to rank, you can choose various SEO techniques.
