How do I remove bad backlinks?
 

Hello seors,
I owned a website which was previously worked on by another SEO company, unfortunately they used link farms and very poor quality backlinks which I have just detected. Some of them have no PR, others are foreign IP's and others have no relevant anchor text etc.
I want to remove those backlinks, any ideas or suggestion to remove them?

Use Google Web Master Tool's disavow back link option..

Just follow below mentioned steps and it will help you to remove bad backlinks:

1. Check your backlinks in Webmaster Tools
2. Look for backlinks from outside your country
3. Look for multiple backlinks from same website
4. Check homepage of site linking to you
5. Check most common anchor text used
6. Check pages your links are on
